About ARCADIAN-IoT

ARCADIAN-IoT is a project whose aim is the analysis and development of technological products linked to growing digitalisation and technological progress, including the adoption and implementation of increasingly sophisticated systems and solutions based on the Internet of Things ( IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). To ensure that this transformation will benefit all citizens in a way that is worth it in terms of security and privacy, research and innovation (R&I) must aim at defining and developing innovative and advanced security and privacy management mechanisms and technologies that can be seamlessly integrated into a variety of contexts and applications.

The use cases of the project also include medical devices, which will be the subject of the workshop as well as their implications in relation to the processing of health data, also in light of the development of Artificial Intelligence technologies.

The ARCADIAN-IoT project addresses this challenge and aims to develop and make available an innovative, advanced and robust framework for managing trust, security and privacy for IoT systems. The ARCADIAN-IoT framework will accelerate the development of IoT systems towards decentralized, transparent, and user-controllable privacy in three real-world use cases.

The ARCADIAN-IoT project aims to develop and make available an innovative, advanced and robust framework for managing trust, security and privacy for IoT systems, considering all entities that interact with such systems, including individuals, IoT devices (objects) and respective applications/services.

Therefore, with the participation of notable guests, topics related to developments in Artificial Intelligence and the processing of health data, also through the use of innovative apps, will be discussed during the workshop.
